About Us

Petroglyph Counseling was founded on the belief that the skills being developed in therapy should be modeled in the workplace itself. We believe that by taking care of employees, we as an agency will be better able to attend to our clients' needs and offer more effective services from staff that are impassioned to provide care. From the newest intern or administrative personnel, to the most seasoned therapist or clinical supervisor - every member of our staff is deserving of a workplace community that both teaches and models an environment that is respectful, supportive, caring, accountable, and ethical. 

Our agency's beliefs were developed in response to our own lived experiences. We strive to model the skills that will reinforce the notion that in order to best care for others, we must also care for ourselves. It is our belief that by actively working towards creating a positive and healthy environment that prioritizes employee care, we will be able to engage in our communities in a manner that better supports positive long-term outcomes. 

Together, we are building a community that employees and clients want to be a part of, not where they feel stuck.
